The Beta 1068 (also designated as 1068-CLIC) is a highly specialized, heavy-duty hybrid tool that combines adjustable self-locking pliers with a built-in 1 kg slide hammer.
Its primary purpose is to grip, clamp, and forcefully pull or extract stubborn mechanical components—such as seized stud bolts, broken screws, cotter pins, and dented automotive body sheets. It is heavily relied upon by car bodywork specialists, restoration mechanics, and industrial maintenance technicians.

Extracting Damaged Fasteners: Ideal for clamping down on rusted, sheared, or broken studs and bolts that have no remaining head. Once the heavy-duty jaws lock onto the remaining thread, the slide hammer is thrown backward to jar the stuck bolt out of its housing.
Automotive Bodywork & Sheet Pulling: Used by panel beaters to grip the edges of bent or mangled vehicle body metal panels. The slide hammer action allows technicians to deliver high-impact pulling force to reshape and pull out dents.
Pin and Component Pulling: Perfect for pulling out tight industrial alignment pins, cotter pins, or keys embedded deeply in industrial machinery housings.

Integrated 1 kg Slide Hammer (Impact Mass): The tail end of the pliers extends into a solid guide rod carrying a 1 kg sliding weight. Sliding this mass quickly against the rear anvil face amplifies the operator’s physical strength, generating enormous linear pulling energy directly down the center line of the tool.
Independent Self-Locking Jaws: Utilizes a rugged internal spring mechanism that keeps the jaws closed under immense mechanical pressure completely on their own. Once you clamp it down, your hands are entirely free to focus on operating the slide hammer.
