Product Information

Relay and fuse removal pliers, straight, thin pattern

The Beta 1497BS Relay and Fuse Removal Pliers (Straight Thin Pattern) are a highly specialized automotive tool used to safely extract electrical relays and fuses from tightly packed engine fuse boxes and instrument panels.
In modern vehicle electrical systems, fuses and relays are crowded together into dense blocks. Removing them by hand or using standard bulky pliers often ends in cracked plastic casings, broken pins, or damage to surrounding circuits. This tool solves that problem entirely.

Automotive Electrical Service: Extracting square multi-pin relays (e.g., fuel pump, AC clutch, or starter relays) from deeply recessed slots.
Fuse Replacement: Pulling standard blade fuses, maxi fuses, or J-Case fuses out of tightly clustered distribution boxes without shorting adjacent pins.
Complex Control Panel Work: Servicing vehicle dashboards, marine electrical clusters, and compact industrial wiring hubs.

Long, Ultra-Thin Noses: With a jaw thickness of just 14 mm and length of 45 mm, the Beta 1497BS easily slides into microscopic vertical gaps between side-by-side relays.
Strategic Tip Notch: The jaws feature a small, deliberate notch contour on the very tips. This design engages the bottom lip or base of the relay housing, enabling a secure claw grip to pull it straight up without slipping or crushing the soft plastic shell.
Straight Profile Control: Being a straight-pattern tool, it allows the user to apply clean, linear pulling force—minimizing the risk of bending the thin electrical contact prongs inside the fuse box.
