Features

The Beta 1599F 150 Parallel Bench Vice is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade clamping tool permanently bolted to a workbench. It is used to securely immobilize large metal pieces, pipes, and structural components so they can be aggressively hammered, cut, drilled, sawed, or filed without moving.
Unlike standard light-duty workshop vices made from brittle cast iron, the 1599F variant is completely steel-forged. This heavy structural build allows it to absorb intense impact shocks and resist snapping under extreme torque.

Specifications

Jaw Width (L1): 150 mm (approximately 6 inches), offering a large surface area to grip bulky objects evenly.
Maximum Jaw Opening (A MAX): 200 mm, allowing it to hold items up to 20 cm wide.
Jaw Depth (BxH): 125x62 mm, providing a high clamping depth so workpieces can sit deeply inside the jaws.
Total Weight: 21 kg. This massive weight acts as a structural anchor, mitigating vibration on the workbench.

Applications

High-Impact Metalwork: Holding thick steel blocks or brackets perfectly still while using large engineer's hammers (like the 1.5kg or 2kg models) to bend or forge metal shape.
Heavy Aggressive Cutting: Securing thick steel pipes, solid iron rods, or heavy angle-iron frames during fast cutting with hacksaws or angle grinders.
Threading and Drilling: Immobilising structural parts under intense rotational torque while using large taps, dies, or power drills to drill or create threads.
Industrial Pressing & Assembling: Acting as a manual mechanical press to force tight bearings, bushings, or rusted pins into or out of mechanical housings.

Comes With

Front-Opening System: The movable front jaw slides out forward, ensuring that long workpieces can clear the edge of the workbench cleanly when clamped vertically.
Hardened and Milled Jaws: The gripping faces are induction-hardened and precision-grooved to provide a biting hold on smooth metals, completely avoiding slippage under high pressure.
Integrated Anvil Face: The rear of the vice body features a hardened, flat anvil surface, letting you perform light hammering and straightening adjustments directly on the tool without needing a separate anvil block.
