Product Information

Beta 1771-Utility Knife 18mm with 3 Blades

1771 Utility knife, 18 mm, supplied with 3 blades

Features

• The Beta 1771 Utility Knife (18 mm) is a professional, high-durability snap-off box cutter engineered for general maintenance, warehouse operations, construction framing, and industrial cutting tasks. The 18 mm blade width serves as the standard format for demanding daily trade work, balancing precise control with heavy-duty cutting stability.

Specifications

• Tool Length (L): 170 mm total length.
• Blade Width (A): 18 mm segmented snap-off profile.
• Total Tool Weight: A balanced 90 grams.
• Handle Shell: Rugged, high-impact ABS plastic body.
• Included Components: Ships with a total of 3 high-carbon steel blades.

Applications

• Warehouse Packaging & Logistics: Effortlessly slicing multi-layer corrugated cardboard boxes, heavy plastic strapping bands, pallet shrink wraps, and industrial packing tapes.
• Construction & Fit-Out Materials: Scoring and deep-cutting drywall (gypsum boards), dense insulation panels, vinyl flooring planks, and rubberized protective sheets.
• Industrial Maintenance: Trimming rubber gaskets, adhesive insulation sheets, roofing felt, and dense canvas fabrics

Comes With

• Reinforced Stainless Steel Core: The cutting blade is nested inside an internal stainless steel structural channel. This rigid guide core prevents the blade from bowing, twisting, or snapping sideways under aggressive downwards force.
• Anti-Return Safety Slider: Outfitted with an integrated mechanical thumb slider that locks the blade safely into position. This prevents the sharp edge from retracting backwards into the handle automatically when you push down into tough surfaces.
• Tool-Free Breakable Segments: When the tip loses its edge through abrasive jobs (like cutting drywall or plaster), users can snap off the worn front section to reveal a completely new, razor-sharp edge instantly. It is fully compatible with Beta 1771RL 18mm Replacement Blades.
