Features

The Beta 8135 075 Steel Plate Lifting Clamp with Articulated Eye is a professional, high-tensile rigging tool used for securely gripping, vertically lifting, transporting, and tilting heavy sheet metal and steel plates.
Its primary purpose is to allow overhead cranes, hoists, or winches to lift raw steel sheets safely. The specialized articulated suspension eye (hinged ring) allows the clamp to flex, giving operators the freedom to attach and lift the load from multiple angles, or flip sheets completely up to 180 degrees without losing grip

Specifications

EN 13155 Compliance & 3:1 Safety Factor: Manufactured strictly in accordance with European industrial lifting safety standards, boasting a structural breaking resistance rated to 3 times its working load limit.
Dual-Marking Traceability: To pass strict safety site audits, the clamp body features both a physical metal data plate and a permanent laser-etched engraving ensuring its lifting specs are never lost.
Critical Operating Constraints
The 10% Minimum Rule: For safety reasons, you must never lift a load weighing less than 10% of the clamp’s maximum capacity (for the 075 model, the payload must weigh at least 75 kg). Without enough weight, the mechanical friction teeth cannot engage the steel tightly enough.

Applications

Vertical Plate Transport: Safely moving large, flat steel plates through shipyards, metal fabrication shops, steel warehouses, and structural construction sites.
Controlled 180° Plate Tilting: Picking up a flat sheet of steel from the floor, turning it entirely upright, or flipping it over to work on the reverse side.
Maneuvering Beams and Profiles: Hooking onto the structural flanges of H-beams, I-beams, or complex steel fabrications to guide them into position during assembly.

Comes With

0.75-Tonne Capacity: This specific ""075"" variant features a maximum Working Load Limit (WLL) of up to 750 kg.
Grip Window: Features a jaw opening width capable of locking onto sheets ranging between 0 mm and 15 mm in thickness.
Cam Safety Lock & Spring: Equipped with a rugged, knurled cam locking mechanism driven by a built-in safety spring. The spring maintains tight, permanent contact between the gripping teeth and the metal sheet, while a gravity-closing friction hold guarantees it will not slip as upward force is applied.
Material Hardness Compatibility: Designed to safely clamp onto structural steel sheets with a material surface hardness rating of up to 30 HRC (300 HB).
