The Beta 960PI/K36-KIT Brushes for Cleaning Injector Seats (Manufacturer Code: 009600218) is a specialized automotive tool kit used for cleaning out carbon buildup, varnish, residue, and encrustations from inside diesel or petrol fuel injector bores and sealing seats.
Its primary purpose is to prepare the cylinder head's injector ports during engine maintenance or injector replacements. Cleaning ensures that the new copper sealing washers and O-rings sit perfectly flat against a smooth, flush surface, which prevents fuel leaks, compression loss, and catastrophic engine seal failures

Applications

Carbon Encrustation Removal: Removes stubborn, baked-on carbon soot that naturally accumulates over time at the bottom of the injector well.
Sealing Surface Restoration: Preps and cleans the bottom stepped sealing surface of the port so new copper crash-washers form an airtight seal against the cylinder head.
Pre-Installation Decontamination: Sweeps out debris or leftover aged engine varnish prior to inserting a replacement fuel injector.

36 Graded Cleaning Brushes: Divided into 3 specific materials, each ranging from 8 mm to 19 mm in precise 1 mm increments:
12 Nylon Brushes: For soft cleaning, fine wiping, or sweeping out loose carbon dust without scratching the aluminum metal walls.
12 Brass Brushes: For general medium-duty scrubbing of old varnish and scale without scoring the machined sealing surfaces.
12 Steel Wire Brushes: Heavy-duty aggressively stiff brushes designed to slice through hardened carbon deposits on the end face or bottom cup opening edges.
Driving Accessories:
1 Quick-Coupling Screwdriver Handle: Features a quick-release magnetic chuck to manually turn the brushes inside the ports.
1 Quick-Release Extension Bar: A 100mm magnetic extension to easily plunge deep down into recessed vertical multi-valve cylinder heads.
Universal Interface: All components utilize a standard 1/4"" male hexagonal shank (DIN 3126 E6.3), meaning the brushes can be clipped into the manual handle or used gently with a low-speed electric drill driver assembly.
