The midi-sized lathe continues to be Charnwood’s best seller. Compact enough to move off the bench when not in use, yet large enough to handle most woodturning projects. Ideal for hobbyists or small workshop users, it combines precision cast iron construction with versatile features for both spindle and bowl turning.

Features:

Electronic variable speed with turn-dial control
Backlit digital RPM readout for precise speed monitoring
Two speed ranges, selectable via belt change
Cast iron precision ground one-piece bed (14″ between centres with supplied heavy-duty centres)
Cast iron headstock and tailstock with hollow spindles for easy centre removal
Tailstock quill hollow for long hole boring; engraved depth scale included
Cam-lock tool rest banjo with hardened steel round bar tool rest
24-position indexing system (15° increments) for decorative turning and piercings
Onboard tool storage and carrying handles
Supplied accessories include drive and tail centres (2MT), knockout bar, 6″ toolrest with 5/8″ shank, 3″ faceplate, and cable tidy
