DeWALT DCG409NT-XJ 18V XR 125mm Angle Grinder with FLEXVOLT Advantage (Bare Unit)

The Dewalt DCG409 is part of the Flexvolt Advantage range of 18v tools. Flexvolt Advantage tools are designed to identify Flexvolt batteries when in use and draw a higher current than a normal 18v machine is capable of. This in conjunction with the high power density brushless motor allows for more power and efficiency. Due to the high power density motor's increased magnets and more windings the grinder is able to deliver an unrivalled power output of 1553 wats with a 6Ah Flexvolt battery. The grinder features an E-Brake, E-Clutch and soft start to provide the user with class leading safety protection features.

High Capacity FV Battery Packs can be detected by the machine and deliver unprecedented and different power levels, up to 70% more power: 5Ah –960W > 6Ah = 1550W > 9Ah = 1650W (internal tests)
E-Brake & E-Clutch provide end user with class leading safety protection features
1-Touch Guard System allows for quick and easy guard adjustments without need for a tool
Removable Protective Mesh Dust Guards offer additional motor contamination protection, increasing tool durability
Over-Moulded Rear & Side Handle provide user with increased grip and comfort in a variation of configurations to suit user preference
