Dewalt DCS781N 54V FlexVolt Single-Battery 12" Mitre Saw (Bare Unit)

This latest generation saw from DeWalt uses advancements in motor technology to allow a 12 inch diameter blade to be driven with a single FlexVolt battery operating in 54 Volt mode. This would be an ideal candidate for the new 15 Amp-hour battery pack (DCB549), which has a capacity of 5.0Ah in 54V mode - giving you plenty of runtime for this powerful machine.

Suitable for cutting larger materials, but also capable of making accurate cuts in smaller pieces thanks to the highly accurate milled surfaces of the table and fences. This saw is fitted with a CUTLINE LED work light, which illuminates at the push of a button or when the trigger is pulled. The light shines past the blade, using the blade to make a shadow on the workpiece exactly where the blade will land.

As well as only needing one battery to operate, there are many other quality of life improvements of the DCS781 over the DHS780 including improved dust port placement, plus new technology to increase the runtime of each battery by recovering lost energy especially between shorter cuts.
