Sip HG1800CBW Battery-Powered Inverter Welder 05712
The SIP HG1800CBW is a portable, battery-powered arc welder built for serious off-grid jobs. It runs completely off a rechargeable lithium battery, so you don’t need a generator or mains power — ideal for welding out in the field, on a farm, or in places where power isn't available. It’s mainly an ARC/MMA welder, but it also has Lift-TIG capability if you need it (though it’s not designed for pro-level TIG work). You’ll get up to 180 amps of output, which is enough to run 2.5 mm to 4.0 mm rods, and on a full charge, you can burn through about 20 rods (depending on the size). Recharging takes about 1.5 hours, and it plugs into a standard socket. At just over 11 kg, it’s light enough to carry around, and it’s built tough, so it can take a few knocks. It comes with a 3-metre electrode holder, earth lead, and carry strap.
