Job Description: We are currently seeking a Packing Department Associate to join our busy team at Toolfix Ireland. The Packing Department plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products are efficiently and accurately packaged for delivery to our customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pack orders according to packing slips and customer requirements.
- Ensure that all items are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify the accuracy of orders before packaging and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting periodic stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as shipping and receiving, to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity in the packing department.
Requirements:
- Prior experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime as required by business needs.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment is a plus but not required.
