Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Field Sales Representative to join our team at Toolfix Ireland. The Sales Rep will play a key role in expanding our market presence, managing nationwide territories, and driving B2B sales growth across the country.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with a passion for sales, a strategic mindset for territory management, and the ability to build long-term relationships with trade customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Territory Management: Plan and execute efficient travel routes across Ireland to maximize client facing-time and manage your schedule autonomously.
- Relationship Building: Manage, maintain, and grow relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting new business opportunities.
- Supplier Liaison: Work directly with brand suppliers and internal marketing teams to stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and sales materials.
- CRM Management: Keep internal systems up-to-date by logging daily sales activities, customer notes, pipeline stages, and follow-ups.
- Product Demonstrations: Present and demonstrate our premium tools and equipment range to prospective clients, emphasizing quality and value.
- Feedback & Market Insights: Monitor competitor activity and provide valuable feedback from the field to help align overall business objectives.
- Travel & Overnights: Travel nationwide on a daily basis, which will involve staying away for 1 to 2 nights per week depending on the territory schedule.
Requirements:
- Driving License: A full, clean Irish / EU driving license is strictly required.
- Experience: Proven experience in field sales or territory management, ideally within the tools, construction, hardware, or related industries.
- Autonomy: Strong organizational and route-planning skills to manage a national territory without day-to-day oversight.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and build trust.
- Tech: Computer literacy is essential. Proficiency using CRM software, ERP / POS system (Intact Preferred but not essential) Microsoft Office.
- Resilience: A target-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
