The Beta 1128BAX Double-Acting Electrician's Scissors are premium, heavy-duty cutting and reaming tools explicitly engineered for intensive electrical assembly, wiring installations, and control panel fabrication.
Their primary purpose is to deliver clean, effortless cuts through heavy-gauge electrical cables and multi-core wiring bundles, while offering a built-in reaming capability to adjust plastic housings on-site

Applications

High-Power Cable Snipping: Used by industrial electricians to slice through thick, single-core and multi-core conductors, heavy-duty electrical cabling, and rugged grounding wires.
Plastic Hole Enlargement (Milling): The outer edge of the blades features a specialized reaming profile designed to enlarge or deburr factory knockouts on plastic junction boxes and back boxes from 13 mm to 25 mm. This eliminates the need to switch to a separate drill or hole-saw when running conduit into a box.
Repetitive, Fatigue-Free Trimming: Ideal for high-volume control cabinet wiring where traditional scissors cause severe hand fatigue over prolonged shifts.
Conduit & Pipe Gripping: Features structured ""pipe throttling grooves"" integrated directly inside the large finger loops, allowing you to grip and steady conduit or pull insulated cables through tight entryways.

Patented Double-Acting Cam: Built with a specialized eccentric cam on the fulcrum pivot. As you close the handles, the mechanism forces the blades to slide longitudinally lengthwise, which reduces physical cutting effort by 20% while actively multiplying the jaw's closing power.
DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) Blade Coating: The high-grade stainless steel blades are treated with an innovative carbon-based DLC matrix. This coating replicates the extreme surface hardness of diamond paired with the slippery anti-adherence properties of graphite. It ensures long-term edge retention, prevents sticky insulation glue residues from binding to the steel, and ensures zero friction during cuts.
Eccentric Anti-Loosening Pin: Standard scissors spread apart under high load, causing wires to fold instead of cutting. This specialized eccentric pivot maintains strict continuous registration between the cutting faces over thousands of working cycles.
