The Beta 1599GI 150 Parallel Bench Vice is an industrial-grade mechanical clamp permanently mounted to a workbench, used to firmly immobilize large metal parts, pipes, and assemblies during high-torque and high-impact operations.
The 1599GI 150 is specifically engineered for professional machine shops, automotive garages, and fabrication yards where the vice faces aggressive workloads like heavy sawing, grinding, filing, hammering, or structural threading.

Specifications

Jaw Width (L1): 150 mm (approx. 6 inches) to clamp bulky items with balanced pressure.
Maximum Opening (A MAX): Opens up to 200 mm, accepting material up to 20 cm wide.
Jaw Penetration Depth (BxH): 125x62 mm, providing a deep jaw drop so long pieces seat securely without pivoting or slipping.
Total Tool Weight: 21 kg, functioning as a heavy structural anchor that directly absorbs impact force and reduces vibration feedback through the workbench.

Applications

High-Torque Metal Threading: Gripping solid shafts or heavy pipes rigidly so you can execute manual thread cutting using large taps and dies without any rotational slippage.
Aggressive Surface Preparation: Anchoring dense iron brackets or plates flat while operators clear welds, cut segments, or deburr metals using high-power angle grinders.
Heavy Structural Adjustments: Holding components firmly in place while striking them with heavy engineer's hammers (such as 1.5kg or 2kg hammers) to bend, form, or align warped metal plates.

Interchangeable Hardened Jaws: The gripping faces can be unscrewed and replaced using Beta 1599GR Spare Jaw Plates. This saves you from replacing the entire 21 kg vice when the teeth wear down over years of continuous use.
Machined Square Guide Rail: Engineered with a tight, box-section square guide that drastically reduces lateral wobble and flexing. This ensures the jaws remain perfectly parallel even under offset or uneven clamping pressures.
Shielded Trapezoidal Screw: The internal drive screw is equipped with heavy-duty trapezoidal threads designed to handle intense compression, safely enclosed to block sharp metal chips, grinding dust, or oils from clogging the mechanism.
