Features

The ROBUR 8097 Lifting chain sling (Grade 8) is a heavy-duty, professional-grade rigging tool designed for overhead lifting, tensioning, and balanced load handling. Part of Beta's specialized Robur lifting equipment line, its primary purpose is to safely connect heavy, awkward industrial payloads to overhead cranes, hoists, or winches.
The 2-leg configuration is specifically utilized to distribute weight across multiple pick points, drastically improving balance, stability, and load control over single-leg designs.

Applications

Industrial Heavy Lifting: Extensively used to hoist heavy machinery components, structural steel packs, or raw materials across factories, shipyards, and construction sites.
Leveling Uneven Loads: Because it features clevis grab hooks (shortening hooks), the effective length of either chain leg can be independently adjusted. This allows riggers to safely level loads that have uneven weights or asymmetrical attachment points.
Motorsport & Fleet Recovery: Used in heavy vehicle workshops or recovery yards to hoist engine blocks, frames, and large assembly components into place.

Clevis Grab Hooks: The legs are fitted with heavy-duty grab hooks that securely clutch directly onto the chain links, making it easy to shorten a leg or create tight choke chains.
Wide Temperature Resilience: Engineered to function flawlessly in extreme environments without any alteration to its mechanical traits, maintaining full performance across a temperature spectrum of -40°C to +200°C.
Certified Safety Infrastructure: The kit adheres strictly to the UNI EN 818-4 standard and boasts a 4:1 safety factor. It comes equipped with a mandatory, durable chain-sling identification tag to display the Working Load Limit (WLL) for rigging safety checks.
