Product Information

Beta 8098/G10 D6-2-Chain Sling 4 Legs 2m

Lifting chain sling, 4 legs, with clevis grab hooks, G10

Features

The Beta 8098/G10 D6-2 is an elite, high-capacity 4-leg overhead lifting chain sling from Beta's advanced Robur rigging and lifting range. It is explicitly designed for heavy crane hoisting, multi-point balanced overhead rigging, and industrial material handling of broad, square, or complex payloads.
Assembled with premium Grade 10 (G10) alloy steel, this specific configuration is rated to safely hoist a maximum Working Load Limit (WLL) of up to 3.0 Tonnes (3,000 kg) when operated at a standard rigging angle between 0° and 45°.

Specifications

8098/G10: Designates a 4-leg layout constructed from ultra-tough Grade 10 alloy steel. Because G10 steel possesses higher mechanical strength than older Grade 8 gear, these chain slings weigh roughly 30% less while maintaining excellent load thresholds, making on-site maneuverability and setups much easier.
D6: Indicates a compact 6 mm nominal chain link diameter, delivering extreme structural pull capacity inside a highly agile profile.
2: Defines the 2-metre total effective working length of each individual chain leg spreading down from the master oblong link.

Applications

Four-Point Balanced Lifting Control: The 4-leg architecture is crucial when maneuvering broad, flat, or rectangular industrial objects like shipping container frames, machinery housings, heavy manufacturing enclosures, or modular pre-cast concrete blocks. It prevents the load from dangerous spinning, twisting, or tilting off-center.
Independent Leg Shortening: The defining attribute of the 8098 series is its integrated clevis grab (shortening) hooks. If the payload's center of gravity is uneven or asymmetrical, a rigger can shorten individual 2-metre chain legs link-by-link to keep the entire setup perfectly level and stable during transitions.
Intensive Operational Endurance: Engineered explicitly for rigorous environments, this system is certified to support more than 20,000 working cycles at full load capacity without stretching, warping, or showing structural deformation.
Traceable Safety Systems: Assembled in full alignment with the latest European Technical Standards (EN 818-4), it maintains a critical 4:1 safety factor rating. A stamped metal identification tag is hard-pinned to the master ring, allowing field safety supervisors to verify capacity specifications during rigging audits.

Comes With

High-Tensile Grade 8 Construction: Manufactured out of high-strength alloy steels, this sling is built specifically for intensive, continuous, and repeated heavy-duty use at maximum capacity without stretching or warping.
Clevis Grab Hooks: The legs are fitted with heavy-duty grab hooks that securely clutch directly onto the chain links, making it easy to shorten a leg or create tight choke chains.
Wide Temperature Resilience: Engineered to function flawlessly in extreme environments without any alteration to its mechanical traits, maintaining full performance across a temperature spectrum of -40°C to +200°C.
Certified Safety Infrastructure: The kit adheres strictly to the UNI EN 818-4 standard and boasts a 4:1 safety factor. It comes equipped with a mandatory, durable chain-sling identification tag to display the Working Load Limit (WLL) for rigging safety checks.
