The Milwaukee 48899262 step drill bit is a SHOCKWAVE™ Impact Duty step drill designed to drill holes ranging from 4mm to 12mm in size with 5 drilling steps. It is optimized for use with impact drivers and drills, providing efficient and durable drilling performance on metals and plastics.

Features:

SHOCKZONE™ body for an optimized durable shank that reduces early breakage
Titanium Aluminum Nitride (TiAlN) coating to reduce heat buildup and extend bit life up to 5 times longer than standard step drill bits
Rapid Strike™ tip for quick and easy centering and drilling
Dual spiral flute for faster, smoother hole drilling
1/4" hex shank with 3-flat secure grip to prevent slipping and ensure maximum torque transfer
Suitable for drilling in metals and plastics
