The Beta 8097/G10 D6-3 is a lightweight, high-capacity 2-leg overhead lifting chain sling from Beta's elite Robur rigging and lifting range. It is explicitly engineered for overhead rigging, heavy crane hoisting, and balanced material handling of industrial payloads.
Assembled with premium Grade 10 (G10) alloy steel, this precise configuration is rated to safely hoist a maximum Working Load Limit (WLL) of up to 2.0 Tonnes (2,000 kg) when operated at a standard rigging angle between 0° and 45°.

8097/G10: Designates the premium Grade 10 alloy steel construction. Compared to traditional Grade 8 setups, G10 chain slings are engineered with enhanced material tensile strength, making the assembly roughly 30% lighter while maintaining equivalent high load capacities.
D6: Indicates a compact 6 mm nominal chain link diameter, offering an exceptionally agile and highly maneuverable profile without compromising heavy structural strength.
3: Defines the 3-metre total effective working length of each individual chain leg stretching downwards from the top master link.

Asymmetrical Load Leveling: The core defining feature of this sling is the integration of heavy-duty clevis grab (shortening) hooks. Because each leg is 3 metres long, riggers have a flexible adjustment window to shorten either leg link-by-link. This is critical for precisely leveling off-center, lopsided, or unevenly weighted components (such as heavy machinery blocks or offset industrial pumps).
Self-Locking Lower Safety Hooks: The bottom of each chain leg is fitted with a robust safety hook that snaps shut automatically and locks securely under the weight tension of the load. This mechanical lock prevents any accidental slips or unhooking while the payload is suspended in mid-air.
High-Volume Operating Cycles: Built explicitly for continuous, intensive use under maximum capacity in severe conditions, this sling series is designed to easily support more than 20,000 working cycles at full load.
